New & Notable Gas Production Volumes
Just out... Oklahoma New & Notable Wells! Last month our focus was on horizontal well development with notable oil volumes. We noticed Blaine Co had produced a few distinguished oil wells. However, this month our focus is shifted a few klicks to the west and south where the Woodford Shale & Mississippian Lime show heavy amounts of gas.
Using PetroBase | Explorer we have identified Continental Resources as having the largest stake in Oklahoma's prolific Natural Gas production. Continental Resources accounts for 60% of the top 25 gas wells in this month's Oklahoma New & Notable Wells report. Blaine Co remains a hotspot returning both large oil & gas volumes. Custer Co. & Grady Co. have also made sizable contributions.

...And They're Off!
Not at Churchill Downs, yet I feel the excitement for our Kansas oil & gas producers. This month's Kansas Production Scorecard gives us the first look at January's oil & gas production volumes. Wrapping up 2018 we noticed a few operators continue to add reserves. Their are more wells being permitted, drilled, & completed due to higher prices which is always good sign.

New & Notable Oil Production Volumes
Have you seen this! It is no surprise that Oklahoma has seen increased activity over the recent years. There have been thousands of horizontal wells drilled... some successful, others marginally low, and then there are the wells that will leave you speechless and scratching your head.
Through the thickening forest of horizontal well activity, we have wondered too, what is the upper echelon of horizontal well production? For our first New & Notable well report, we were after horizontal wells that would stand out. Using our well data mining & production analysis tool, Explorer, we found them and here are the results...
